Greensboro Oyster Roast
The 17th Annual Greensboro Oyster Roast
at the home of Liz and David Johnson
Honorary Chair: Leslye Tuck
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak and with the safety of our guests as our top priority, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Greensboro Oyster Roast originally scheduled for May 1st.
At this time, Family Service of the Piedmont is keeping a close eye on the rapidly evolving situation and its impact on our mission, the community, and the health and well-being of our clients and staff members. We continue to be committed to helping children and families, especially those who are the most vulnerable, deal with domestic violence, overcome child abuse, improve their mental health and gain financial stability.
Though we have made the decision to postpone the fundraiser, the demand for our services remains greater than ever, and we need your support now as much as ever. We look forward to working with you in the future to help our clients in these uncertain times.
Thank you for your support and understanding. If you have questions about the Oyster Roast please contact email@example.com or (336) 801-1154.
The Oyster Roast is an outdoor, casual chic affair featuring live music, oysters and a dinner buffet served by Pepper Moon Catering, along with beer and wine, southern sides and desserts, a raffle and silent auction.
The 2019 Oyster Roast was attended by more than 900 people and raised proceeds of more than $343,000 to support Greensboro programs of Family Service of the Piedmont. With your help, we can have even greater success in 2020!
